Youth Program Overview

At A-CAST, our Youth Program is dedicated to fostering leadership, community service, and personal growth among young members. Our program provides comprehensive training and support, equipping our youth with the skills and opportunities needed to make a meaningful impact.

We are proud to be recognized as a certifying organization for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA). Through our program, participants can earn this prestigious award by dedicating their time and talents to community service, further enhancing their college and career prospects.

Membership Details

Our youth membership runs annually from September 1st to August 31st of the following year, with a membership fee of $25. As a member, you’ll receive priority access to volunteer opportunities and training activities.

Youth members who complete at least 25 hours of volunteering with A-CAST within the membership year are eligible to apply for the PVSA. Additionally, members can apply to serve on the Youth Board for the following year. The Youth Board election and new member recruitment take place during the summer, offering a chance to step into leadership roles and shape the future of our program.
